Octagonal Winding Staircase MOC tip
ACPin is a very well known MOC builder and on his page I saw an excellent tip on building a winding staircase for those into Castle/Turret MOC’s. His method is simple yet very effective and adds an extra dimension to your MOC, he had this to say on his creation/tip “Always wanted to design/build interiors for MOCs whenever possible and especially for those brought for public displays/events.
It always adds up to the cool factor of the creation like when I’ve mentioned that the Akai Shiro castle has interiors then proceed to lift up the roof to show it.
What more can you add to the Octagonal tower? Though interior space doesn’t provide much room, the winding staircase should be ample enough to add that extra ooommphh. Almost forgot to mention that the tower will go on top and be featured as one in a future castle diorama. The same guards from the small tower armed with BrickWarriors accessories used for scale.”
Take a look at the images and hopefully you can find it inspirational for your next build, for more tips and creations check out his Facebook page.
