New LEGO Brand Stores coming to Bonn and Dresden
Job ads for Store Managers have revealed that LEGO Brand Stores will be coming to the cities of Bonn and Dresden in Germany.
The positions of Brand Retail Store Manager in both Bonn and Dresden have been advertised for a few days now on the official LEGO Germany website. In the job descriptions, both roles will lead a team of 16 employees, suggesting that further hiring will likely be around the corner.
Looking at the hiring patterns of other LEGO stores, hiring for managers generally takes place around two to three months before they are ready to welcome shoppers. If the same timeline rings true here, German LEGO fans might expect to be able to visit the shops in Bonn and Dresden as early as September or October.
There is no indication of when the roles will be filled, nor an exact location or date for the stores to open themselves. These will be the 15th and 16th LEGO stores to open in Germany, with another in Stuttgart opening its doors in April.
The flurry of new retail locations reflects the LEGO Group’s statement at last year’s International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany that they will target more adult LEGO fans in the country.
